It was an amazing day and Adelaide Couture got in touch with Stephanie and asked her about their special day.
Michael took me away to the Barossa Valley for the long weekend in March last year.
I didn’t suspect a thing as Michael’s mum “pretended” to buy us the weekend away for his birthday the weekend before. We had a relaxing weekend drinking wine, eating out, and just enjoying some time away together.
We went to Murray Street Vineyard on the last day we were there before heading back home. Michael popped the question in the vineyard which we were lucky enough to have to ourselves. We celebrated with a glass of wine with a glass that had the initials MSV on them. The branding of the winery itself would be our initials once we were married.
MSV is a special place!
The Day Itself
We had the most special day!
We were lucky to have great people around us in the lead up to and on the day itself. I knew it was going to be perfect when I had an amazing sleep the night before. I feared being too excited and too nervous to sleep but I felt so content knowing that the day has almost arrived.
We have been together for 11 years so we were so ready and waited in anticipation for our wedding day to arrive. We both had great mornings surrounded by our bridal party and our families. We couldn’t wait to get to the church.
It is such an overwhelming feeling of love and support that we felt that I didn’t want to the day to end. We were with all of the people that matter most to us, we couldn’t ask for more.
We laughed and smiled the whole day and looking at our album it just shows what a happy day we were blessed with.”
The Couple’s Advice
“Timing it so important. Have a timing guideline and stick to it. My fabulous maid of honour was there to make sure everything went to plan. If you are on time the day runs smoothly and there is nothing to stress about.
Don’t let anything worry you. If your Mum burns a little hole in your flower girl dress, or the music is playing up before the church so what! Nothing matters more then being happy on the day!
Choose a fabulous bridal party! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. They made everything run smoothly and were such an important part of why we had such a great day.
Remember that the day is about celebrating! Laugh, smile, eat, dance, drink, talk, kiss and do all the things that make you happy! Everyone is there to celebrate you!”
